SHALOM IN THE NAME OF THE 'RESURRECTED ONE', OUR MESSIAH, THE LORD Y'SHUA ADONAI
SHALOM IN THE NAME OF THE 'RESURRECTED ONE', OUR MESSIAH, THE LORD Y'SHUA ADONAI
HAVE YOU THOUGHT AND OR REMEMBERED THAT JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD ON THE 'THIRD' DAY OF PESACH (PASSOVER)?
YES, IT WAS STILL AND DURING THE FEAST OF THE LORD CALLED 'PASSOVER' THAT THE EVENTS REVOLVING AROUND THE GLORIOUS RESURRECTION HAPPENED
IT WAS INDEED DURING THE TIME OF THE SEVEN DAYS OF PESACH (PASSOVER) THAT THE EVENTS OF OUR REDEMPTION TOOK PLACE. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST
DO WE FULLY APPRECIATE AND UNDERSTAND THAT THE PRECIOUSNESS OF THE WORD OF LORD FOUND IN THE 23RD CHAPTER OF LEVITICUS TIES IN WITH OUR BEAUTIFUL MESSIAH? BEGINNING WITH THE SABBATH (SHABBAT) AND ENDING WITH THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES?
OH LORD, OPEN OUR EYES TO APPRECIATE THE TIME AND EFFORT FROM ETERNITY THAT THE GODHEAD PLANNED, PREPARED AND PERFORMED EACH AND EVERY EVENT OF HISTORY THAT IS STILL BEFORE US TODAY, INCLUDING OUR OWN INDIVIDUAL LIFE. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY
TODAY AS WE REMEMBER THE RESURRECTION OF OUR BLESSED MESSIAH, MAY WE BE COGNIZANT OF THE FACT THAT THINGS DIDN'T JUST HAPPEN, THEY HAVE BEEN PURPOSED SINCE THE CREATION OF MANKIND, THANK YOU LORD
HERE ARE SOME SCRIPTURES FOR THIS VERY DAY
I Corinthians 15:12 - 20 'Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

SIX THOUGHTS ON (PASSOVER)
Dr. and Mrs. Elias E. Hidalgo
THE WORD PASSOVER
THE WORD PASSOVER IS FOUND '76' TIMES IN THE HOLY BIBLE. IT IS FIRST FOUND IN EXODUS 12: 11 AND THE LAST TIME IT IS MENTIONED IS FOUND IN HEBREWS 11: 28.
THE HEBREW WORD FOR PASSOVER IS 'PESACH', WHICH ACTUALLY MEANS TO 'PASS OVER IN MERCY'.
HERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT 'PESACH'.
P - PARDON
DURING THE FIRST PESACH THE LORD OFFERED PARDON TO THE HEBREW CHILDREN AND ALSO TO THE EGYPTIANS IF THEY WOULD ONLY OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS THAT THE LORD HIMSELF GAVE UNTO MOSES TO SHARE WITH THEM, ON THE NIGHT THAT THE DESTROYER WOULD COME UPON ALL THE HOUSES IN EGYPT, BY APPLYING THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB UPON THEIR DOORS.
E - EXTENDED
THE LORD'S MERCY EXTENDED NOT ONLY TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE BUT ALSO TO ANY GENTILE THAT WOULD COME UNDER THE BLOOD THAT FATEFUL NIGHT WHEN THE FIRSTBORN OF EVERY HOME WOULD BE DESTROYED. APPARENTLY, MOST OF THE HEBREW CHILDREN WERE OBEDIENT, BUT ALSO ABOUT 600,000 EGYPTIANS BOWED THEIR HEART TO THE GOD OF JACOB THAT EVENING, THEY ARE REFERRED TO IN SCRIPTURE AS THE MIXED MULTITUDE.
S - SACRIFICE
THE SACRIFICE THAT WAS REQUIRED WAS A LAMB OF ONE YEAR OF AGE WITHOUT SPOT OR BLEMISH, TAKEN ON THE 10TH DAY OF NISAN AND OBSERVED FOR FOUR DAYS, THEN, ON THE 14TH DAY OF THE SAME MONTH, THE LAMB'S LIFE WAS TO BE GIVEN AS A RANSOM FOR THOSE THAT WERE FOUND IN THE HOUSES, AND OF COURSE IT'S BLOOD NEEDED TO BE APPLIED UPON THE UPPER LINTEL AND THE TWO SIDE POSTS OF EACH HOUSE, THUS THE SACRIFICE WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE TO THE LORD GOD.
A - ATONEMENT
THIS BLESSED ATONEMENT IS A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE AND SYMBOL OF THE ONE WHICH WOULD COME TO THIS EARTH APPROXIMATELY 1,450 AFTER THE ORIGINAL PESACH IN THE DAYS OF MOSES. THIS INDIVIDUAL THAT CAME ALMOST 2,000 YEARS AGO IS REFERRED TO 'AS THE LAMB OF GOD' WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD, AND THIS IS Y'SHUA HA-MASSHIACH ADONAI (THE LORD JESUS CHRIST). THIS GLORIOUS ATONEMENT UNLIKE THE FIRST THAT TOOK PLACE WITH THE DEATH OF AN ACTUAL LAMB THAT COVERED THE HEBREW CHILDREN AND COMMANDED THEM TO OBSERVE AND REMEMBER YEARLY, IS NOW CALLED 'CHAG HA-MATZAH', THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD. THE TOTALITY OF THE ATONEMENT THAT THE LORD Y'SHUA WOULD PROVIDE TO ALL WHO WOULD BELIEVE AND RECEIVE HIM AS THEIR ATONEMENT WAS FOR TIME AND ETERNITY, A ONE TIME ATONEMENT.
C - CLEANSING
THE CLEANSING BY A BLOOD SACRIFICE IS THE ULTIMATE PAYMENT FOR SIN. IN THE DAYS OF MOSES THIS CLEANSING OR FORGIVENESS WAS TEMPORAL, BUT THE CLEANSING THAT HAS BEEN ALREADY PROVIDED BY THE MESSIAH OF ISRAEL IS INDEED 'ETERNAL' NEVER TO BE REPEATED AGAIN. THUS, BOTH JEWISH AND GENTILE INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE RELYING ON THE SACRIFICE OF THE LAMB OF GOD CAN REJOICE AND REMEMBER WITH MUCH JOY THAT ALL OF OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN BY THE WONDER OF WONDERS, THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF THE ETERNAL GOD-MAN IN JERUSALEM, ISRAEL, LONG AGO AND STILL EFFECTIVE TODAY TO ALL WHO WILL RECEIVE HIM AS THE LAMB OF GOD.
H - HOLINESS
THE LAST THOUGHT ON PESACH IS HOLINESS. IN HEBREW THE WORD IS KODESH WHICH SIMPLY MEANS THE STATE OF BEING SEPARATED FROM SIN AND JOINED TO OUR BLESSED CHRIST AND SAVIOUR, BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. WHAT A NES GADOL HAYAH SHAM, 'A GREAT MIRACLE HAPPENED THERE', IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL WHEN Y'SHUA AS THE LAMB OF GOD COMPLETED THE ETERNAL SACRIFICE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD. NOW YOU AND I CAN BE JOYFUL IN HOLINESS BEFORE HIM UNTIL THAT TIME WHEN HE CALLS US HOME TO HA-SHAMAYIM (THE HEAVENS) WHERE OUR BLESSED LORD ABIDES.
THE PASSOVER IN THE
By Dr. & Mrs. Elias E. Hidalgo
TWENTY-EIGHT TIMES PESACH (PASSOVER) IS MENTIONED IN THE BRIT HA-DASHA (NEW TESTAMENT) AS A TESTIMONY TO THE VERACITY OF PASSOVER AND IT'S GOD GIVEN ORDINANCE TO ISRAEL AND TO ALL PEOPLE THAT WILL OBSERVE IT ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD.
THE BASIC PRINCIPAL OF KEEPING PASSOVER FOR A CHILD OF GOD COMES FROM THE FACT THAT OUR LORD JESUS KEPT PESACH, AND HE SAW FIT TO LEAVE US THIS WONDERFUL HISTORICAL AND INSPIRATIONAL RECORD IN EVENTS THAT RECORD HIS DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION, THAT IS, THE NEW TESTAMENT.
THEREFORE, WE AT SHALOM SCRIPTURE STUDIES ENJOY AND RELISH THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO WHAT JESUS DID LONG AGO, AS RECORDED IN LUKE 22: 15, 'WITH DESIRE I HAVE DESIRED TO EAT THIS PASSOVER WITH YOU BEFORE I SUFFER'.

Mark 14:16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

In The Book of John

John 18:28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
John 18:39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
