Dear One in our Lord,
Your obedience to our Lord through your demonstrable acts of care and concern for the ministry of Shalom Scripture Studies helps us day by day to continue pressing on to bring to others the Good News of the Gospel, 'to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.' Thank you.
During August, 08, your supportive prayers were received with much gratitude and thanksgiving.
Our Lord Jesus Christ when speaking (as recorded in Luke 21) of the end of the age, He specifically mentioned the aspect of fear, 'Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken'.
In actuality, we are witnessing the beginning of these circumstances before our very eyes:
Are you old enough to remember that there was a time in our country that we did not lock the doors of our home, or, cautiously look behind wondering if someone was lurking about to harm us, well, we could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. Yes, we are living in perilous times and the future does not look any better. Imagine any individual that knows the danger that exists around every corner and has no hope through our Lord and God, how sad it must be living in despair and sadness. We as God's children by grace through faith in our Messiah have the answer, not only for the despair of life but for all eternity. Shouldn't we then reach out to the lost with the answer for their failing heart (physical and spiritual), and that is, with the word of God? Help us Lord to honor you in word and in deed with the good news of salvation and hope.
Our ministry has been doing this very thing for nearly 35 years and with your continued help, prayerfully and financially, we will with His help do our part by distributing the answer to men's failing hearts through our web site, our literature, our videos and our Hebrew Christian Bible Fellowships in Minneapolis, Naples and Savannah.
