Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you so very much for your gift for the ministry of Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc.
'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven'
The above Scripture is found in Ecclesiastes 3:1, and it is a good reminder for each one of us to consider that the Lord is indeed in charge of all things, as we thank Him, as the Scripture tells us,
'Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ' (Ephesians 5: 20).
The word 'season' in Hebrew is 'tseman', which also can be understood as 'time'; Now, we here in Savannah, Georgia have two basic 'seasons'; we have six months of hurricane 'season' (from June thru November), and the no-hurricane season (from December thru May). As a result, we who live in this area thank the Lord constantly that He is not only in charge of all things, but that He is our protector, and this is especially true during the months of awareness that at any moment we may be confronted with bad weather.
Similarly, when we are going through some difficult moments in our lives, it is good to remember the following, 'And He changeth the times and the seasons; He removeth kings, and setteth up kings; He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. He revealeth the deep and secret things; He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him. I thank Thee, and praise Thee, O Thou God of my fathers' (Daniel 2: 21-22).
To the glory and praise of our Lord, our ministry branches out to the far corners of this earth, and you are a part of this accomplishment, therefore, we say, thank you for helping us reach out via our web site, television programs, literature and our fellowship meetings.
