Dear Associate Member,

Once again we are amazed at the power and provision of our wonderful Lord in using you to supply the needs of Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc., for August, 2006. Thank you.

Your gift was received with thanksgiving, ‘the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God’. (Philippians 4: 18b).

To the glory of God, in a few weeks our internet web pages will hit the 100,000 mark, and that means, that thousands of individuals throughout the world have clicked on our site for information, inspiration and inquiry. Only the Lord knows as to the ‘seed’ that has been sown and even greater, the harvest that He will allow to come forth. ‘that bringeth forth his fruit in his season’; (Psalm 1: 3b).

Since we do not believe in ‘charging’ for the Gospel based on I Corinthians 9: 18, ‘What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the Gospel, I may make the Gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the Gospel’; Therefore, even though almost 100,000 individuals have benefited from our work for the Lord, very few have responded, in fact in ten (10) years of being on the world wide web, approximately 13 individuals have helped us financially, so you see, how important the challenge is in helping us to continue.

‘Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.’ (Ephesians 3: 20-21).

Please join with us in this wonderful prayer for the nation and people of Israel, as well as for our own country (U.S.A.), ‘If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.’ (II Chronicles 7: 14).
