Dear Associate Member,
As we write this July, 2006 receipt/letter, we want to first of all thank the Lord God for allowing us the great privilege of living in a free and wonderful country, the United States of America. Secondly, we thank the Lord God for our President and all those who have authority over us, may He bless each one for His Names sake.
We also say, thank you Lord God for our Associate Members, for your love, prayers and support of this ministry. This month, you graciously shared with us which represents your free will offering that is accepted with much thanksgiving before our blessed Lord.
This month we are sending you a picture of the Hidalgos with one of our youngest members at our Savannah Shalom Chapel. His name is Joshua Caleb Phillips, he just turned seven (7) years old last month and he blesses our spirit and soul as he reads for us from Holy Scripture almost every Friday evening. May the Lord bless him and his parents.
In the picture, you will see above our heads the following Scripture from Psalm 122: 6, Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, phonetically in Hebrew it is, Sha-alu Shalom Yrushalayim.
Especially, in these troublesome times around the world, and specifically in the Middle East, may we not only remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, but in fact, let us say Even so, come Lord Jesus, for we know, according to Scriptures, that wars and rumors of wars will be one of the signs given unto us of the last days prior to the return of our Messiah Yshua (Jesus), our Redeemer.
We encourage you to read Zechariah chapter fourteen (14) and Matthew chapter twenty-four (24), as these two chapters show forth to us the coming events prior to our being gathered to meet the Lord in the air. What a glorious day that will be. Halleluyah.
Until next time, we say, Shalom Alechem (Peace unto you).
Dr. and Mrs. Elias E. Hidalgo
